The Honda CX500 Turbo (another designation: CX500 TC) is a Japanese sports motorcycle that was first presented to the public in 1982. In the same year, series production also started, which lasted only one year! The CX500 Turbo model has been developed and put into production to expand the market offering of the Honda CX series of motorcycles. The design was largely based on the CX500 and CX650 models. The main changes were the use of an efficient turbocharger and the innovative electronic fuel injection (PGM-FI), a very avant-garde design for the early 80s, making the CX500 Turbo the first mass-produced motorcycle to use such a solution used. . Thanks to these two innovations, the engine power increased to 82 hp. A novelty, however, which was also used in other models of the CX series, was the liquid-cooled, not air-cooled 4-cylinder engine.
