Description
The various elements of the aircraft are built at sixteen sites across Europe (plus a site in Indonesia and another in India).
The assemblies are then grouped together on the Toulouse-Blagnac site for the final assembly. The first 2 aircraft were put into service at the end of 2009, the "F-HPJA" number was the first to receive the all-new "Air France" livery which will now cover the entire fleet. At Airbus Industrie, there were 24 Air France A380s on firm order.
