Description
In 1961/62, Chevy® drastically changed the styling of its large ImpalaT line of vehicles. It marked the end of the era of the wild fins. The 62 hardtop had the new "convertible roof" design. The '62 Impala also had the powerful 409 cubic inch V8 engine used by drag racers, although racing was considered politically incorrect by American automakers at the time.
