Description
The Pantsir-S1 Anti-Aircraft Missile and Gun System is a short-range air defense system. Pantsir-S1 was established in 1994 and commissioned in 2010. The Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system is designed to cover civilian and military facilities, including long-range air defense systems, of all modern and advanced air assault weapons.
The complex is equipped with a two-band three-coordinate radar station with a phased antenna array, as well as automatic rapid-fire guns and radio-controlled missiles.
