The armored recovery vehicle (Sd.Kfz. 179 Bergepanther) was fitted with a Pz.Kpfw.IV turret, converting the Bergepanther into a command vehicle. This vehicle was part of combat operations in the spring of 1944 near Ternopil, Ukraine.

The kit includes details such as decals for the markings of the Schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung 653 and is based on historical photographs. This unique modification possibly featured a fixed turret with a dummy gun, with the internal space used for radio equipment and combat maps.
