The ICM 1:35 Sikorsky CH-54A Tarhe Skycrane Helicopter with Universal Military Pod is a detailed model kit that depicts the impressive heavy helicopter developed in 1962 for transporting large military cargo. Equipped with powerful crane winches, the CH-54 Tarhe could lift heavy loads while hovering, without the need to land. This helicopter was successfully used during the Vietnam War to evacuate damaged aircraft and helicopters, as well as to transport artillery, vehicles, tanks, and patrol boats on external suspension.

To expand the CH-54's transport capabilities, a special transport capsule was developed to carry infantry, wounded, or military equipment. These containers were fitted with windows, doors, and a rear ramp, allowing military equipment such as light vehicles to be transported inside. A total of 22 versatile containers were built, each with its own unique military registration number.
