The Douglas BOSTON III A-20 B/C Havoc in 1:48 scale from Italeri is an iconic twin-engine propeller aircraft designed to serve as a night fighter and light bomber. Its distinctive high-wing configuration could be equipped with powerful nose-mounted weapons for attack missions or configured as a light bomber. The latter proved especially successful, not only with the USAAF (United States Army Air Forces) but also with the RAF, where it was known as the "Boston." Featuring an innovative tricycle landing gear, the Boston could carry up to 1,800 kg of bombs. It was produced in large numbers and served with various air forces, including the RAF, Commonwealth, and even the Soviet Air Force. Although the kit does not include a figure, it allows for the creation of a highly detailed model of this historic aircraft.

• Version E: the Douglas A-20B Havoc flown by the USAAF 84th Bomb Group in Tunisia, North Africa, 1943.
