1:48 Zvezda 4831 Soviet Fighter Yak-9T Plastic Model kit
The Yak-9T fighter with the M-105PF engine was a modification of the serial Yak-9 with improved armament. This version of the aircraft was equipped with an OKB-16 11P-37 aircraft gun (later called NS-37) of 37 mm caliber. The installation of a larger and heavier 37 mm gun (length - 3400 mm, weight - 150 kg) required a number of significant changes in the design of the Yak-9. The fuselage in the forward part was reinforced and the cockpit was moved back by 400 mm. The experimental Yak-9T was built in January 1943 and underwent flight tests in February-March 1943. The Yak-9T was mass-produced at Plant No. 153 from March 1943 to June 1945. A total of 2,748 fighters of this modification were produced. The Yak9T was successfully used to combat enemy aircraft of both fighter and bomber types.
